Membership is one of the simplest ways of supporting Clan Gregor and helping preserve our heritage for another generation. But membership is about more than history. It is also about people. Joining provides an opportunity to meet others with similar family connections, participate in gatherings and Highland Games, explore genealogy and maintain a connection with the worldwide Clan Gregor community.
And you don't have to be called MacGregor or McGregor. As a result of the name MacGregor being illegal for 200 years our clansfolk were forced to take on different names. A list of names that may point to a Clan Gregor ancestry can be seen at https://www.acgsus.org/clan-gregor-septs-family-names/
There are two membership options:Option One is $45 per year but if you pay for four years the fifth is added free. Option One includes a monthly New Zealand newsletter and an emailed PDF version of the comprehensive bi-annual Clan Gregor Society newsletter.
Option Two is $55 per year but, again, if you pay for four years the fifth is added free. Option Two includes the monthly New Zealand newsletter and a printed copy of the comprehensive bi-annual Clan Gregor Society newsletter which is posted to you. The extra $10 per year covers the printing and postage.
